親愛的外籍朋友，您好！值此新春佳節(jié)之際，我們謹(jǐn)向您和您的家人致以節(jié)日的祝福！

針對當(dāng)前新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情，十堰市已啟動了突發(fā)公共衛(wèi)生事件一級應(yīng)急響應(yīng)。十堰市在黨中央、國務(wù)院的統(tǒng)一部署和省委、省政府的工作安排下，正在全力以赴抗擊疫情，遏制病毒的擴(kuò)散和蔓延。市委、市政府十分關(guān)心在堰外籍人士的身體健康，和面臨的困難，為了您和家人的身體健康，共克時(shí)艱，根據(jù)《中華人民共和國傳染病防治法》等相關(guān)法律法規(guī)的要求和黨中央、國務(wù)院的決策部署，請您務(wù)必配合做好以下工作：

二、關(guān)注權(quán)威信息

十堰市新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情防控指揮部已開設(shè)“十堰權(quán)威發(fā)布”平臺，每日及時(shí)發(fā)布關(guān)于本次疫情的準(zhǔn)確、權(quán)威信息，您可以從十堰電視臺、秦楚網(wǎng)、十堰晚報(bào)等媒體及時(shí)獲取。避免恐慌，不信謠不傳謠。

三、盡量減少外出

避免前往人員密集的場所，減少聚會聚餐等集體活動。若必須前往，請正確佩戴口罩，首選醫(yī)用外科口罩。

四、做好自我防護(hù)

保持良好的衛(wèi)生習(xí)慣，注意手衛(wèi)生，勤洗手，使用洗手液或者含有酒精的濕巾。不與疑似流感患者接觸。廢棄口罩按規(guī)定規(guī)范投放。適當(dāng)開窗通風(fēng)，注意保持室內(nèi)環(huán)境衛(wèi)生。避免接觸任何野生動物或禽類動物，肉類和蛋類請徹底煮熟后食用。

五、及時(shí)就醫(yī)診治

持續(xù)觀察自己的健康狀況。如果有政府、社區(qū)工作人員、醫(yī)務(wù)人員詢問您的情況，請您積極配合他們的工作。若出現(xiàn)發(fā)熱、咳嗽、胸悶、乏力等癥狀，請佩戴口罩，就近到我市定點(diǎn)醫(yī)療機(jī)構(gòu)就診。

各位外國朋友，在這危機(jī)關(guān)頭，十堰是我們共同的家園。讓我們眾志成城，守望守護(hù)，以必勝的信心和勇氣，共同打贏這場偉大的戰(zhàn)役。

A Letter to International Friends in Shiyan

Dear international friends in Shiyan,

We would like to extend our greetings to you and your family on the occasion of the Spring Festival. In response to the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), Shiyan Municipal People’s Government has activated Level I public health emergency response. Under the direction of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and the arrangement of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, Shiyan has spared no efforts in the fight against epidemic to curb the spread of the virus. The CPC Shiyan Municipal Committee and Shiyan Municipal People’s Government are deeply concerned about your well-being. For the health of you and your family, you are kindly requested to follow the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases of the People’s Republic of China and other relevant laws and regulations, and the calls of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council by cooperating in the following areas:

I. Seek help in times of need

II. Follow official updates

Shiyan Municipal Headquarters on Epidemic Prevention and Control has established a platform named “Shiyan Release”, to update accurate and authoritative information about epidemic prevention and control on a daily basis. Please follow Shiyan TV, Qin Chu net, Shiyan Evening News and other media outlets for the latest updates. Keep calm and avoid believing and spreading false and unverified information.

III. Minimize outdoor activities

Avoid crowded places, parties and group activities. Properly wear a mask (preferably a surgical mask) if you have to go outside.

IV. Focus on epidemic prevention

Keep good personal hygiene by washing your hands more frequently with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer. Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms. Properly dispose used masks. Maintain ventilation and keep rooms clean. Avoid close contact with wild animals or birds and make sure eggs and meat are thoroughly cooked before consumption.

V. Seek prompt medical attention

Please monitor your health condition closely and work with government or community personnel or medical staff if they inquire about your condition. If you have any symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, or fatigue, please go to a designated hospital with a mask on.

Dear international friends, Shiyan is our home. In the time of difficulties, we need to stand in unity and solidarity to protect and defend our home. With confidence and courage, we can win the battle against the epidemic.
